Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Control Inspector in Cape Town, you will play a crucial role in assessing and ensuring the quality of products before they reach the consumer. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and evaluations to ensure all products meet our strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality assurance activities during the production process.
• Review and approve quality control documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality of materials received.
• Analyze quality data and trends to propose corrective actions.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Provide mentorship to junior quality control inspectors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance or a relevant field
• Certifications in Quality Control or Six Sigma preferred

Experience

• 3+ years relevant experience in a quality control or inspection role

Technical Skills

• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Quality Assurance Tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Quality Improvement Associate
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles: Understanding of Lean principles to improve product quality and efficiency.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as Minitab: Experience using statistical software for quality analysis.
