Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of wildfire prevention strategies.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on advanced fire management techniques.
• Lead assessments of fire risk in various environments and recommend mitigation actions.
• Actively participate in community outreach efforts to educate the public about wildfire prevention.
• Coordinate with emergency response teams during wildfire incidents.
• Monitor local fire conditions and provide real-time updates to the incident command team.
• Implement and refine best practices in fire management based on latest research and technology.
• Compile reports on wildfire incidents and prevention efforts for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in wildland fire operations and management

Certifications

Languages
