Job Description

As a Police Administrative Assistant, you will provide vital support to the police department, assisting with record management and facilitating daily operations. You will work closely with officers and other staff to ensure efficient administration and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Organize police department events and community outreach initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative inquiries.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new staff on administrative procedures.
  • Compile and distribute meeting agendas and notes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote departmental initiatives.
  • Assist in updating departmental policies and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in office management is preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in a law enforcement or government setting is advantageous.
