We are currently seeking a Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The role involves ensuring optimal medication management for patients, conducting consultations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a passion for community health.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Educate patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects.
• Implement and monitor patient adherence programs.
• Assist in managing pharmacy budgeting and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with suppliers for medication procurement and stock management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Additional certifications in pharmaceutical care advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community pharmacy practice

• Patient assessment

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
