Join our dynamic team as a Legal Counsel in Cape Town. We are looking for someone with a strong background in corporate law and compliance. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring all legal documents meet the necessary regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate the complex legal landscape.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes amicably.
• Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring processes.
• Conduct due diligence for transactions and assess legal risks.
• Prepare reports and documentation for legal compliance audits.
• Provide ongoing support for corporate governance and compliance processes.

Requirements

Education

• LLM (Master of Laws) is a plus
• Relevant diploma in corporate governance is beneficial

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in a legal role, preferably in corporate settings
