Responsibilities

  • Design structural components for various types of buildings and infrastructure.
  • Prepare reports and documentation necessary for project applications.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and assess compliance with designs.
  • Collaborate with architects and construction managers to ensure design feasibility.
  • Evaluate existing structures and recommend appropriate repair and reinforcement methods.
  • Provide expertise on material selection and specifications.
  • Utilize engineering software to create detailed structural designs.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in structural engineering practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in structural engineering roles

Certifications
  • Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is preferred
