Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of mechanical systems, solidworks proficiency, and experience with CAD software. You will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and prepare detailed project documentation.
• Identify risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Engage with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to apply in projects.
• Ensure projects adhere to budgets and deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Creativity

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified Manufacturing Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent
