Join our team as a Construction Manager where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction operations in Johannesburg. You will coordinate and manage site activities ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed project plans and schedules, incorporating timelines and milestones.
• Cultivate relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure timely communication of project updates and changes to all stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve project delays, ensuring minimal impact on timelines.
• Review and approve design changes and variations.
• Organize and lead regular site meetings with project teams.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental regulations.
• Facilitate training and development for site personnel.
• Assist in the recruitment of construction staff and crew.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 7+ years in the construction industry with managerial experience preferred
