Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to provide expert legal advice and support to our organization. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while minimizing legal risks. You will collaborate with various departments to provide guidance on legal issues and represent the organization in negotiations and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Guide the company through complex regulatory environments.
• Negotiate on behalf of the company in dispute resolutions.
• Develop and implement compliance programs and training.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management.
• Assist in mergers and acquisitions from a legal perspective.
• Maintain records of legal documentation and compliance.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders to promote legal understanding.
• Support in corporate governance practices and policies.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in corporate law are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in a corporate legal environment

Certifications

• Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM)
