Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable Legal Advisor to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law and will provide strategic legal advice to our clients. You will be responsible for reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and representing clients in legal proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Research legal issues and provide well-reasoned opinions.
• Support the team in complex transactions and disputes.
• Advocate for clients in negotiations with third parties.
• Prepare and deliver legal presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Document and monitor compliance with contracts and legal requirements.
• Mentor junior legal staff and interns in legal processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
• Master's degree in Corporate Law preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate legal advisory roles
