Job Description

Join our team as a Social Worker in Cape Town, where you will engage with individuals and families in need of support. You will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing intervention plans, and providing ongoing support and counselling to improve their well-being.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and modify approaches accordingly.
• Provide training and support to interns and junior staff.
• Develop community partnerships to enhance service delivery.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions and support group activities.
• Advocate for policy changes that benefit clients in the community.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work

Experience

• 3+ years of direct experience in social services or community outreach

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
