Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Civil Rights Lawyer with a commitment to social justice and legal advocacy. This position requires a strong understanding of civil rights law, litigation experience, and dedication to defending the rights of individuals and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead civil rights litigation efforts on behalf of clients.
  • Research and analyze legal issues affecting civil rights.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior legal staff.
  • Develop strategic litigation plans for complex civil rights cases.
  • Deliver presentations to stakeholders and community groups.
  • Participate in public awareness campaigns regarding civil rights.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals on high-profile cases.

Requirements

Education
  • LLB or equivalent legal degree
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Human Rights Law preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years working in civil rights law or public interest law
