Job Description

As a Healthcare Assistant in Durban, you will play a vital role in supporting nurses and medical staff in delivering exceptional patient care. You'll assist with daily activities, monitor patient health, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patients.

Responsibilities

• Support patients in daily activities while promoting independence.
• Collect and document information on patient health for the nursing team.
• Foster a positive environment for patients and their families.
• Help in the administration of medications as per protocols.
• Maintain inventory of supplies for patient care.
• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare policies and protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Healthcare or relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
