Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement intervention strategies for patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed evaluations to identify patient needs.
• Design and implement effective rehabilitation programs tailored to individuals.
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment for patient recovery.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient management.
• Train patients in the use of adaptive equipment.
• Promote health education to improve patients' understanding of their conditions.
• Conduct research to develop new therapy methods.
• Contribute to team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is highly desirable

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience
