Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Drilling Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing drilling plans, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing drilling operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative drilling techniques.
• Lead the daily operations of drilling rigs and equipment.
• Evaluate drilling performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and training to drilling crews.
• Ensure all drilling activities adhere to safety protocols.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of drilling equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field
• Additional qualifications in Drilling Engineering preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in drilling operations

• Casing and Cementing Techniques
• Hydraulic Systems

Certifications

• ISO 45001 Certification (Occupational Health and Safety)

Languages

• English: Fluent
