Job Description

As a Compensation, Benefits, and Job Analysis Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and administering health benefits programs for our employees, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will provide expert advice on health benefit options, analyze and evaluate health benefit plans for cost-effectiveness, and collaborate with insurance providers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration of employee health benefits programmes.
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Advise employees on their health benefit options and entitlements.
  • Evaluate and enhance health benefit offerings based on employee feedback.
  • Work closely with insurance brokerages to negotiate coverage and pricing.
  • Assist in the resolution of employee health benefits related issues.
  • Facilitate workshops to educate employees about health benefits.
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping for health benefits administration.
  • Research and implement industry best practices in compensation and benefits.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Soft Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Familiarity with South African healthcare regulations.: Up-to-date knowledge on South African health regulations is advantageous.
