Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Event Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Hermanus. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning and executing various events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement event concepts that align with client objectives.
  • Coordinate with marketing for event promotions and outreach.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact during events, managing staff and vendors.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during events to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and distribute event schedules to all stakeholders.
  • Create post-event reports, analyzing successes and areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in event management or hospitality
