Job Description

A Grill Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking various grilled dishes, including meats, poultry, fish, and vegetables. They must ensure that the food is cooked properly and delivered to the customer in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Grill a variety of meats, poultry, fish, and vegetables to perfection.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while handling food.
  • Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and cooking equipment.
  • Participate in menu development and special promotions.
  • Adapt cooking techniques as per food trends and customer preferences.
  • Assist in training new staff members in grilling techniques.

Requirements

Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Grill Cook in a busy restaurant or kitchen environment.
