Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Johannesburg. In this role, you will manage project timelines, coordinate with subcontractors and ensure that projects meet quality standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the construction industry with excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily construction activities.
• Foster a positive work environment among team members.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with codes.
• Assess project design and provide constructive feedback.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Conduct site safety audits and enforce safety protocols.
• Control project execution and ensure on-time completion.
• Prepare reports for upper management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
• Professional certifications like CIH or NEBOSH are beneficial

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction industry
