Job Description

Seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our projects in Johannesburg. You’ll coordinate with various stakeholders, enforce safety regulations, manage project timelines, and ensure that our construction practices meet regulatory codes and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of construction projects for quality assurance.
  • Manage suppliers and subcontractors to ensure delivery of materials and services.
  • Implement advanced construction techniques to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor compliance with budget constraints and project timelines.
  • Investigate any complaints or issues arising on-site.
  • Report on project progress and challenges to executive management.
  • Review contractual agreements to ensure compliance and fulfillment.
  • Train and mentor new staff and construction team members.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Utilize project management software to track progress and delays.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Professional certification in project management is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of extensive experience in construction project management
