Job Description

We are searching for a proactive Cargo and Freight Agent to oversee the shipment process and ensure timely delivery of goods. You will work closely with vendors, customers, and logistics partners to optimize freight operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Conduct regular audits of shipping documents and procedures.
• Assist in freight rate negotiations and cost estimation.
• Utilize logistics software for tracking and reporting.
• Provide training and support to junior team members.
• Monitor market trends and changes in the transportation sector.
• Participate in strategy meetings to improve logistics efforts.
• Prepare monthly reports on shipment status and performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in freight coordination or related roles is preferred.
