Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at our Pretoria facility, you will provide top-notch nursing care to patients, assisting with diagnosis and treatment plans while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate outcomes.
• Educate patients on disease prevention and health promotion.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Additional certifications in specialised nursing fields are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• IV Therapy
• Wound Care

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
