Job Description

The First-Line Supervisor of Security Workers will oversee and lead a team of security officers to ensure the safety and security of the organization's personnel and property. This role involves developing security policies, conducting audits, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Direct security operations in compliance with company policies.
  • Review and enhance existing security protocols based on audits.
  • Coordinate training sessions focusing on emergency response and safety.
  • Conduct investigations into incidents and prepare accurate reports.
  • Ensure all security staff maintain high customer service standards.
  • Assist the Security Operations Manager in strategic planning.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of security systems.
  • Engage with local authorities on security measures and community initiatives.
  • Evaluate the training needs of security personnel.
  • Foster teamwork and a positive work environment among security staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications in security management
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in security with supervisory experience

Certifications
  • PSIRA certification as a Security Officer Grade A
