Looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon who is enthusiastic about animal welfare to join our Durban clinic. The successful candidate will perform various veterinary procedures, diagnose health issues, and collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals. Responsibilities

  • Examine pets to diagnose health issues.
  • Carry out surgical and non-surgical procedures.
  • Prescribe medication and treatment plans.
  • Educate pet owners about post-operative care.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary health and safety regulations.
  • Compile reports on clinic performance and animal health statistics.
  • Interface with equipment suppliers and keep up to date with technologies.
  • Support the well-being of animals and client satisfaction.
  • Uphold ethical standards in veterinary practice.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
  • Postgraduate certificate in animal surgery is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years in clinical veterinary practice
