Pharmacist

Job Description

Health Plus Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacist who is passionate about patient care and community health. You will ensure safe medication use and provide expert recommendations to healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy.
• Provide guidance to patients on medication use and safety.
• Prepare personalized medication plans in collaboration with doctors.
• Lead health promotion activities in the community.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Train and supervise pharmacy support staff.
• Implement best practices for pharmacy operations and care.
• Conduct research on drug efficacy and safety.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities.
• Manage patient records and pharmacy software systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting
