Sign Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified Sign Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of signs to ensure they are functioning effectively and comply with all safety standards. You will provide hands-on service while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of signage for repairs and maintenance.
• Utilize tools and equipment such as multimeters and power drills effectively.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for large-scale repair projects.
• Ensure materials and equipment are stocked and maintained.
• Assist in the training of junior technicians on maintenance procedures.
• Report safety hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals.
• Provide timely feedback and reporting on maintenance tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Relevant certification or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sign maintenance or related field
