Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for procurement, logistics, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise procurement activities to secure materials and services.
• Monitor and optimize logistics operations for cost-effectiveness.
• Develop metrics to measure supply chain performance and report to management.
• Plan and manage inventory levels to meet production and sales demands.
• Enhance supply chain practices to reduce waste and increase sustainability.
• Train and develop supply chain staff to improve team capabilities.
• Conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
• Work with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning for supply chain activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management

Certifications
