Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will provide excellent medical care, conduct examinations, and perform surgeries to improve the health of our patients. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, a passion for animal welfare, and a commitment to client education.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor animal health through regular check-ups.
• Implement emergency care procedures when necessary.
• Foster lasting relationships with pet owners through excellent service.
• Maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Work with local animal shelters to provide veterinary services.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Further qualifications in animal behaviour is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in veterinary practice with a focus on clinical care
