We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves designing, developing and testing mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and technical nuance to deliver engineering solutions that meet the needs of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical project design from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for materials.
• Evaluate system performance and develop solutions for improvements.
• Document and maintain engineering processes and changes.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
• Support customer inquiries and provide engineering insights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Project Management certification is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role

Technical Skills

• Thermodynamics
• Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera)

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
