Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing engineering solutions that adhere to industry standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize simulation software to model mechanical systems.
• Oversee the prototype development and testing phases.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to meet project goals.
• Evaluate existing systems for improvements and upgrades.
• Implement sustainable practices in design and engineering processes.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation.
• Participate in site inspections to ensure project alignment with designs.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Languages

• English: Fluent
