Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Agricultural Scientist to join our team in Polokwane. The successful candidate will conduct research and development activities focused on improving agricultural practices and crop production. You will work closely with farmers, agricultural engineers, and other scientists to develop sustainable agricultural solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct field trials to evaluate new agricultural technologies.
• Collaborate with universities and research institutions on joint studies.
• Advise on the use of chemical and organic fertilizers.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote best practices in agriculture.
• Prepare grant applications for funding agricultural research projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or a relevant field
• PhD preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in agricultural science or related research
