Job Description

As an Operating Room Orderly, you will be vital in maintaining the operating room's cleanliness and organization. You will assist the surgical team before, during, and after procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the operating room is fully prepared before surgeries.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the surgical space.
• Assist with patient preoperative and postoperative needs.
• Monitor and report supply levels to ensure adequate stock.
• Aid in the setup of surgical equipment and instruments.
• Adhere to strict infection control guidelines.
• Assist in the management of patient and surgical data.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support the surgical staff with various tasks during operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in surgical services

Certifications
