Pump Installer

Job Description

As a Pump Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of pump systems. Your expertise will help both residential and commercial clients maintain their water supply and ensure consistent operation.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair a range of pumps and pumping systems.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring their satisfaction.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of pump systems.
• Document all workflow and maintenance tasks accurately.
• Work closely with other teams to address client requirements effectively.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and safety knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Trade certificate in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical engineering

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in pump installation and maintenance

Technical Skills

• Technical skills in pump systems
• Hydraulic systems knowledge
• CAD Software proficiency

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal communication
• Time management

Certifications

• Valid driver's license

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in safety standards: Knowledge of and certification in relevant health and safety regulations.
• Experience with specific pump manufacturers: Hands-on experience with brands such as Grundfos, Ebara, or similar.
