We are searching for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Tech Innovations Inc. Based in Pietermaritzburg, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and experience in project management. You will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and improving mechanical systems and products.

Responsibilities

• Create and review engineering designs and specifications.
• Implement quality control processes in the development phase.
• Coordinate project activities with other departments and external partners.
• Participate in project meetings, providing expert technical advice.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns as needed.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities within the engineering process.
• Support procurement efforts by providing detailed engineering specifications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or design
