Job Description

We are seeking an Electrotyping and Stereotyping Supervisor to lead our production team in Johannesburg. Your role will involve overseeing the electrotyping process, ensuring that all plates are produced accurately and efficiently. You will train and mentor staff while maintaining equipment and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the electrotyping team to meet production targets.
• Ensure all machinery is well-maintained and in good working condition.
• Regularly assess production processes for efficiency improvements.
• Develop training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Document and report on production metrics and quality controls.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs for specific printing jobs.
• Implement best practices for waste reduction and resource management.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification

Experience

• 3-5 years of related experience in a supervisory capacity.

• Electrotyping Knowledge

Certifications

• Certification in Stereotyping Techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent
