We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will work on various health initiatives, conduct community outreach programs, and collaborate with local healthcare agencies to improve public health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve community health education and resources.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on public health best practices.
• Implement disease prevention initiatives based on community needs.
• Maintain accurate records and databases of health activities.
• Advocate for policy changes to support public health.
• Develop partnerships with organizations to enhance health outreach.
• Monitor public health trends and provide timely recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public health or health promotion
