Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Area Manager to oversee our operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing store performance across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational efficiency across all assigned shops.
  • Achieve sales targets while managing budgets and costs.
  • Foster positive relationships with store teams and customers.
  • Ensure high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
  • Regularly review team performance metrics and implement improvement plans.
  • Stay updated on competitor activities and market conditions.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.
  • Facilitate regular training sessions for staff development.
  • Enhance community engagement through local marketing efforts.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate and store-level management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Further qualifications in Project Management are beneficial
Experience
  • 5+ years in a senior retail management role with experience in managing multiple locations
