Corporate Finance Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Finance Associate who will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and supporting corporate finance initiatives in Johannesburg. In this role, you will participate in budgeting, forecasting, and assisting in transactions while collaborating with different departments to ensure alignment on financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and analyses to support decision-making.
• Assist in mergers and acquisitions activities, including due diligence.
• Develop financial strategies with the finance team.
• Track and evaluate financial performance metrics.
• Coordinate with external auditors for financial statements preparation.
• Facilitate communication regarding financial matters across departments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in finance roles

• CFA Level II or equivalent
