Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified pharmacist to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of pharmaceuticals and a passion for community health. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing health consultations, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret physician prescriptions.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy in all interactions.
• Provide immunizations and health screenings as required.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Advocate for patient safety and medication management practices.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred but not necessary.

Experience

• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment is a plus
