Job Description

The Plant Protection Superintendent will lead and manage the plant protection program, developing robust strategies to combat pests and diseases while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of plant protection strategies.
  • Analyze trends in pest populations and crop disease.
  • Lead training initiatives for staff on integrated pest management.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable plant health regulations.
  • Conduct audits of pest management systems and crop health.
  • Implement pest and disease monitoring systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Environmental Science
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in a managerial or supervisory role within plant protection
