Responsibilities

• Develop tax strategies to minimize clients’ tax liabilities.
• Review and analyze financial statements for tax implications.
• Prepare documentation for tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
• Provide recommendations on tax-efficient business practices.
• Coordinate tax compliance for multi-national clients.
• Assist in the implementation of tax technology and tools.
• Support clients in cross-border tax issues and regulations.
• Present tax savings ideas and strategies to clients.
• Monitor and review clients’ compliance status and tax filings.
• Assist in the preparation of high-quality tax reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Tax qualification or Registration with SARS is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation or tax advisory roles

Technical Skills

• Corporate Tax
• International Tax

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Problem-Solving Skills

Certifications

• Tax Practitioner Registration with SARS

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
