Public Health Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Public Health Officer to develop and oversee public health programs focused on disease prevention, health education, and community outreach. Your role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders to improve health standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement public health programs and initiatives.
• Conduct community assessments to identify health needs.
• Collaborate with local organizations to promote health awareness.
• Monitor and evaluate public health policies and programs.
• Provide training and education to community health workers.
• Facilitate workshops on health education and health promotion.
• Advocate for community health issues with government agencies.
• Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of health programs.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public health or community health roles

Certifications

• Certified in Public Health (CPH)
• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages
