Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Midrand. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience, primarily focusing on the maintenance and optimization of engineering systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance projects from conception through to implementation.
• Implement best practices for maintenance and reliability engineering.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption during maintenance activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures.
• Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports on maintenance performance metrics.
• Assist in the selection of new equipment and technologies.
• Collaborate with external resources for specialized maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education

• BEng in Electrical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of maintenance experience in an engineering environment

Certifications

• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent
