Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Compliance Analyst to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will ensure compliance with payroll regulations and policies while maintaining the accuracy of payroll data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes and the ability to navigate regulatory changes efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compliance training programs for payroll staff.
  • Conduct reviews and assessments of payroll compliance controls.
  • Provide expert advice on payroll-related legislation and implications.
  • Monitor and report on payroll compliance metrics.
  • Ensure timely submissions of payroll tax filings and reports.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate payroll audits.
  • Advise on best practices for payroll processing and compliance.
  • Manage compliance documentation and records in an organized manner.
  • Review and update payroll procedures in line with regulatory changes.
  • Act as a point of contact for compliance issues within the payroll department.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Certification in Payroll Compliance is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in payroll operations or compliance
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Payroll Software
  • Knowledge of Tax Regulations

Certifications
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
