Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our expanding team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic support to individuals facing mental health challenges. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and engage with clients using evidence-based approaches. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and challenges.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment strategies tailored to clients.
  • Provide consistent feedback and support to clients throughout therapy.
  • Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation for professional growth.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions when applicable.
  • Promote self-care practices and resources for both clients and staff.
  • Assist in the development of mental health awareness campaigns within the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
  • Licensure as a Therapist in South Africa is required.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in therapeutic practice
