Job Description

We are on the hunt for a talented Web Developer to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in both front-end and back-end web technologies, and be enthusiastic about building user-friendly, interactive web applications. You will be working closely with designers and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Review and enhance existing applications to improve functionality and user experience.
• Maintain documentation for code and processes.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and contribute to Agile development practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Web Development or related field

Experience

• 4+ years of full-stack development experience

Technical Skills

• PHP
• MySQL

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with web accessibility standards: Knowledge of best practices for making web content accessible to all users.
