HR Generalist

Job Description

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and be able to support various HR functions across the organisation. This role involves engaging with employees, streamlining processes, and contributing to a vibrant workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the recruitment cycle from talent acquisition to onboarding.
• Develop training materials and conduct employee orientation sessions.
• Maintain and update employee handbook and policies.
• Advise management on HR best practices and employee discipline.
• Support performance management processes.
• Drive employee engagement surveys and analyse feedback.
• Work with leadership to implement retention strategies.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant labour laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in an HR role
