Looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our innovative team in Durban. The successful candidate will lead the design and development of high-performance web applications, working closely with backend developers to create seamless user experiences. An affinity for responsive design and a knack for solving complex problems is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new user-facing features using React.js.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and peer review other developers’ work.
• Stay abreast of developments in the industry and actively seek out new technologies.
• Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning.
• Contribute to project scoping, estimations, and planning.
• Develop unit and integration tests to improve product reliability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development
