We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems, components, and products. Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in the execution of mechanical design projects.
• Evaluate existing systems and suggest enhancements.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Engage in continuous improvement via feedback mechanisms.
• Assist in project budgeting and resource allocation.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide expert advice to cross-functional teams on engineering matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering management or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Thermodynamics

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
