We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems, components, and products. Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test mechanical devices and systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and design analysis.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project execution.
• Utilize CAD software to create and model designs.
• Prepare and present project proposals and reports.
• Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering management or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Thermodynamics

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
