Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Farm Equipment Mechanic to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing farm machinery, particularly combine harvesters, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections on agricultural machinery for issues.
• Repair hydraulic systems and ensure effective performance in farm equipment.
• Communicate with team members to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Train new employees on safety protocols and equipment handling.
• Stay updated on technological advancements in agricultural machinery.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare reports on equipment status and repair needs for management.
• Assist in lifting heavy machinery components when required.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma related to agricultural machinery is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience working with combine harvesters or agricultural equipment.
